Blue Bayou Waterpark/Dixie Landing Amusement Park (20 minutes from the hotel) (Full day) recognized in 2009 as having 5 of the most "extreme" water slides in the country.  Amusement park stays open from day to evening.

St. Francisville  (one hour north of hotel) - area is rich in plantation history, including The Myrtles (one of Louisiana's most haunted homes)

 

Lafayette - (approximately one hour west of the hotel)  Cajun Country at it's best.  Enjoy the hospitality, the accent and the food.
